Scotland was pretty warm for this time of year and it was so beautiful. I got to visit some of the castles and art museums around Glasgow, which were really cool. Craignethan Castle had some amazing views. If anyone ever gets the chance you should really go visit. I lived right outside of Glasgow until I was 3, then we moved to Ohio. I hope I can move back someday. I still have my accent and you wouldn't believe how many people say "Catch me Lucky Charms" or something ignorant like that every day. Say that to someone in Scotland and ya will get the dickens beaten out of ya.

My mum had other family that lives here. She ended up moving to Texas a few years ago, so I was hoping to move back to Scotland with my da, but that never happened...

BadLuckLuke: That would be awesome if you got to go see them again. The show in Scotland was insane. Good fun!

Is anyone else getting the DVD today? I got it last night and it's pretty cool. I'm in it from the show they played in Columbus last year.

I've never been, but the pictures are absolutely gorgeous! I was planning on a British Isles trip with my mom and son this summer, but we decided on the southern states instead. That way we can visit family, and I could look into Real Estate out there (so much cheaper). The hard part will be trying to work around taking some down time. In my business, once you take a break, it takes a while to get going again. But, it will be easier to keep things going across the country as opposed to being on the other side of the planet.
F*ck! I keep getting invited to SXSW but it's too much time off! 4 days off from Punk Rock Bowling killed me, and Viva next month will be another 4 days off, but I want to go to SXSW so bad! Ghosty, I'm jealous of you!!

I've been totally absorbed with work and personal (death in the family) stresses. Tonight I'm looking forward to and thinking that this time next week I'M GOING TO BE IN AUSTIN FOR SXSW. (Trust me, the music helps you keep your head straight.)
